Sandy Robbie is an experienced Lead Guitarist, Singer, Songwriter and Sound Engineer (Studio and Live) originally from Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He relocated to the scenically beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia in February 2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandy has performed, backed, recorded and toured with many successful bands in South Africa including Andrew Young<\/strong>, Centrestage Allstar Band<\/strong>, Little Sister<\/strong>, Clout<\/strong>, Tank<\/strong> and many others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clout <\/strong>in particular enjoyed international success<\/strong>, selling more than 12 million records<\/strong> world wide. Their hit single ‘Substitute<\/strong>‘ reached number 2 on the UK Charts<\/strong> and number 1 in Ireland, Germany, France, Holland, Switzerland<\/strong> and New Zealand<\/strong>. The Band also toured and performed live extensively in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to moving to Australia, Sandy performed as a one man band at various gigs around Port Elizabeth (see gigs tab) and appeared in numerous Centrestage Allstar Band<\/strong> productions. He worked regularly at the Port Elizabeth venue, The Barn & Barrel<\/strong>, covering mostly 70’s Rock<\/strong> with local band, The Beanie Rebels<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With twenty years experience as a skilled sound engineer, both live and studio, Sandy has composed and produced music for a host of audio visual roadshow projects. These projects include promoting  various products such as: Aquafresh,  Scotts Emulsion, Nugget Shoe Polish, Rascals, Fruity Pops, Pick ‘n Pay, Milo, Dettol, Nashua Team Titans (to name a few) for various advertising agencies in South Africa.  Sandy has also composed music for promotional videos for the stock market in South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sound Engineer:  <\/strong>As a sound engineer Sandy continues to produce and arrange music for various artists.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
